Calling All Bikers – Team BEMA Needs You
Calling All Bikers – Team BEMA Needs You! |
BEMA is proud to announce its participation in the BP MS 150 in 2014. Team BEMA is extending an open invitation to our clients to come ride with us in April. We are open to riders of all experience levels. Registration for the 2014 BP MS 150 opened on October 10, 2013.
Mark your calendars, as the MS 150 will be April 12-13th. We would like to find out who has an interest in taking part in this event. For all of you who want to ride, we will begin training in January to get everyone into cycling shape. We will start the training process slowly building up your mileage and ability to climb hills. This is a charity bike ride, not a race. To complete this ride you will be required to have the following things:
This ride/event is a lot of fun and raises money for a very good cause. You will lose some weight while training for this ride and meet some pretty interesting people along the way. So with that being said let us know if you want to commit and take part in one of the biggest organized bike rides in the US and help a worthy cause. BEMA will be covering a significant amount of the cost of this event for the team, but each rider will be required to pay a $75 team fee. This fee will help subsidize the costs of the team jersey, tent in La Grange, and other costs associated with the ride.
If you do not want to ride, Team BEMA also needs volunteers to help the team in the spring while training and the weekend of the actual ride. Please contact Andrew Garcia or Josh Williamson for more details.
